As at July 2011, this is our proposed route.
We're scheduled to fly out of Australia on 25 December 2011 and head straight to Cairo where we'll assemble our bikes, arrange visa for Sudan and i'll buy a man-dress.
We plan on riding out from Cairo on or about 28 or 29 December where we have a deadline to meet our ferry in Aswan that will take us over to Wadi Halfa in Sudan. This is the only deadline we have for the trip.
Our route takes us almost 12,000kms through 10 countries over 125 days (including about 20 rest days). All up, we will average over 120km each riding day. As at today (25 July 2011), i've riden that distance twice.
